Trying Something New

April 16th, 2008

Seemed like a good idea at the time. But I just don’t think I have the patience for this. I think it would be easier and more satisfying in Paint (do they still make that?) Here is the first initial stab at it. I’ll probably come back to it from time to time…but like I said, it takes much more patience than I have.

Hey, I hope you don’t think this is creepy or anything, but I googled your name a couple of nights ago and I found your website. Well, I have been looking almost everyday to see your latest entries and to just find some way of keeping in touch. Weird? I know. I think everything is pretty cool, especially this one. Would love to have note cards with this design. By me looking at this, I hope it will not keep you from posting more. If it is too uncomfortable let me know. By the way, when I google your name, you’re all over the place:)

    Hi Sharon,
I am getting ready to go out of town but came online to post when I found your’s and Ashley’s comments. I want to say a lot more…but I want to think about it a bit. I’m glad you found the blog. And yes, it is weird, but I am not surprised. I’ll talk about that later.

For now, I just wanted to let you know that you have given me a valuable lesson. Blogging rule 101: If you’re going to write personal things and in particular, things you may not want your boss or more importantly, future bosses to read…don’t use your real or full name on the blog. I realize that I made a major faux pas with that. So…you’ll see now that my last name is no longer referenced in the blog and I have taken away links and names to my portfolio. I just wanted to write a quick response to you that it’s not because of your comment here. It’s because literally I am in the middle of applying for a new job. And I need to protect myself from a potential future employer. They don’t need to read this blog since it is personal.

When I get back into town, I’ll respond further and we can see how this goes.

    Kary
